Blogs in Education
I can see two main roles that blogs can play in education. They are obviously an easy way to disseminate
information and to have a forum in which an administrator can post important campus
information and forum members can comment and question about that information. The underlying role is reflection. The administrator has to process and think over
what posts that they are going to write in their blog and this creates those “wonderings”
that I have been reading about. This makes
blogging an important tool in action research as it is a source of ideas about
what changes can be made on campus through the administrator’s reflection and through
the feedback of blog members.
